About The Position

The Line Cook prepares food for guests throughout Acrisure Arena, including hot and cold dishes, made-to-order items, and food served on buffet lines. The role may involve direct interaction with the public. The Line Cook is expected to provide fresh, high-quality food in a timely manner, follow company recipes and portioning requirements, maintain sanitation and safety standards, and demonstrate excellent attendance. The position is part-time and pays $20.00–$23.00 per hour. The posting states that it will remain open until December 31, 2026.

Requirements

Previous cook or prep cook experience is highly preferred.
Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment, including a broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef knife.
Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver high-quality, fresh food products to guests in a timely manner.
Prepare hot and cold foods according to company recipes and portioning requirements.
Contribute as a team member to food preparation, service, and product delivery.
Report maintenance needs for kitchen equipment.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Observe and test food to ensure it is properly cooked.
Portion, arrange, and garnish food plates for delivery to guests.
Consult with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor to plan menus and estimate expected food consumption.
Meet the company standard for excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events as business needs require.
