About The Position

Help shape the technology behind better healthcare operations. Southwestern Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an on-site, full-time EHR Billing Analyst to join our team of professionals. This role partners closely with Patient Financial Services to provide EHR support, lead billing-related projects, and identify opportunities to improve processes and performance. You’ll work across departments and directly with vendors, leadership, and front-line staff to support system enhancements and the continued development of our EHR billing modules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, or related field.
• Should have a good working knowledge of word processing and computerized spreadsheet applications.
• Must have good communication and organizational skills.
• Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand the business needs of all corporations.
• Lead and/or participate on project teams during research, implementation, and upgrades of systems.
• Consult with managers and end users to continuously improve systems and increase operating efficiency.
• Establish and maintain system manuals and training materials.
• Develop and update the EHR billing modules on an ongoing basis as it relates to industry standards, changes in guidelines, process improvement initiatives and compliance protocols.
• Handles billing software issues by consulting with the Applications team, Patient Financial Services and vendor support.
• Works with teams on projects related to new programs or services and/or changes in payer protocols, fee schedules and other financial components.
• Ensures continuous collaboration with leadership and front-line staff related to the functions of the revenue cycle process and other performance improvement opportunities.
