About The Position
The Emergency Department RN will work 36 hours per week on night shifts, including every other weekend. The Emergency Department is a 65-bed unit, pod-based, with separate pediatric and Acute Mental Health areas. The clinician to patient ratio is 1:4. The patient population is all ages. The average daily census is 230 visits. The EMR system used is EPIC ASAP. Floating to other units may be required. This is a night position and does not rotate shifts.
Requirements
- 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience.
- General ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.
- AHA Certified BLS, ACLS & PALS.
- Must be able to work nights and every other weekend.
- Must be able to float to other units when requested.

- TNCC certification
