About The Position

Salem Hospital is a 371 licensed bed facility that has 220 Med/ Surg beds, MICU, ED, Labor and Delivery, a Level 2B Nursery, etc. This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist working 36 hours per week on nights, including every other weekend. The unit is Respiratory. The clinician to patient ratio is 5 Respiratory Therapists staffed during the Day shift; 5 on Eves and 4 on Nights. Day Shift assignments include 1 on Charge, 2 assigned to 20 bed ICU, and 2 assigned to Med/Surg Floors.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working in one location.
• 1 to 2 years of experience working as a Traveler.
• Ventilator experience in an acute care setting.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy.
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases.
• RRT certification.
• Active MA Respiratory Therapist License.

Responsibilities

• Work 36 hours per week on nights, including every other weekend.
• Draw arterial blood gases.
• Operate PB980 Ventilator and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator.
