About The Position

The eCommerce Packing & Shipping Associate supports Valley Pool & Spa’s online order fulfillment by accurately picking inventory, securely packing products, and preparing orders for shipment. This role helps ensure orders are shipped efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to accurately read picking tickets, shipping labels, and product cartons.
Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday and regularly bend, stoop, and reach.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds and use appropriate equipment for heavier items.
Ability to safely retrieve merchandise from varying heights using warehouse equipment, including rolling stairs.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
Steel-toed work boots or shoes required.

Responsibilities

Accurately pick products from warehouse inventory using picking tickets.
Pack orders in appropriately sized shipping envelopes or boxes and apply shipping labels.
Palletize packages and prepare shipments for carrier pickup.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area.
Monitor shipping supplies and notify the manager when replenishment is needed.
Assist with processing returns and restocking merchandise.
Complete end-of-day shipping procedures.
