eCommerce Shipping Specialist
About The Position
The eCommerce Shipping Specialist assists with the overall operation of the eCommerce store, including accepting and processing donations, assisting online customers, shelving items, and shipping orders. The role packages and ships sold products accurately and promptly, handles order-fulfillment customer service, maintains shipping supplies and shipment records, and helps keep work areas safe, clean, and organized. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. A post-offer background check is required to ensure the applicant meets eligibility requirements for the assigned customer or location. Alternative work locations may be offered as appropriate.
Requirements
- Must be able to multitask to meet daily production quotas.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow directions in English.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and twist for eight hours.
- Frequently exposed to airborne particles while performing job duties.
- Must complete a post-offer background check to ensure eligibility requirements for the assigned customer or location are met.

- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to the assigned work schedule and maintain punctuality.
- Keep work areas organized and clean them at the end of each day; maintain cleanliness in storage and production areas.
- Maintain positive, team-oriented relationships with management, peers, and subordinates.
- Efficiently package items for shipment.
- Ship sold products accurately and promptly to the correct customers.
- Locate and collect orders for shipping.
- Handle order-fulfillment customer service, including requests for tracking information, local pickup, and combined shipments.
- Maintain shipping-supply inventory and proactively request restocking.
- Maintain a database tracking shipping costs and parcel quantities.
- Maintain safety in work areas and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Meet goals and fulfill responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
