E-Scooter Delivery Driver
About The Position
Veo is a shared micromobility provider operating bikes and scooters in more than 60 cities and universities across North America. The company designs and manufactures its vehicles, hardware, and software in-house and operates local markets directly to provide safe and reliable service. Veo’s mission is to end car dependency by making clean transportation accessible to all. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers support rider experience and fleet operations by locating, maintaining, and repositioning scooters throughout the city. The role involves following tasks in a mobile app, driving a company van, swapping scooter batteries, performing quality checks and minor repairs, and responding to requests to locate or retrieve scooters. Candidates should be comfortable working with their hands and staying active throughout a shift. Part-time and full-time candidates are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Have a smartphone and be comfortable using apps.
- Be able to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
- Have good communication skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of local geography and street layouts.
- Flexible availability, including early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
- Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or similar work.
Responsibilities
- Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks.
- Drive a company van to find scooters and swap their batteries.
- Rebalance scooters from low-demand areas to high-demand areas.
- Perform basic repairs and quality checks.
- Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
