About The Position

Veo is a shared micromobility provider operating bikes and scooters in cities and universities across North America. The company designs and manufactures its vehicles, hardware, and software in-house and operates local markets directly. The E-Scooter Delivery Driver supports fleet operations by locating and maintaining vehicles, swapping batteries, rebalancing scooters, conducting quality checks, and performing minor repairs. The role involves active work throughout the shift and using a company van to service scooters across the city.

This is a W2 seasonal position. The stated shift is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; weekend overnight availability is preferred. Pay is $18 per hour. A company van is provided. Candidates must have reliable transportation to, or live near, the warehouse on Homes New Row in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The position is not eligible for benefits. The posting separately notes that full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage and PTO.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.
• Have a smartphone and be comfortable using apps.
• Be able to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Have good communication skills and attention to detail.

• A flexible schedule, including availability for early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
• Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or similar work.

Responsibilities

• Follow the mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks.
• Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap their batteries.
• Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas.
• Perform basic repairs and quality checks.
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
