About The Position

Veo is a shared micromobility provider whose mission is to end car dependency by making clean transportation accessible to all. The company operates in more than 60 cities and universities across North America and designs and manufactures its vehicles, hardware, and software in-house. Veo is seeking an operations professional to help provide riders with an excellent experience by maintaining vehicles and improving fleet operations. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers use a company van to locate scooters, swap batteries, rebalance vehicles across the city, and perform quality checks and minor repairs. The role involves working with a mobile app, responding to on-demand requests, and being active throughout the shift. Full-time shifts are available: Thursday–Sunday, 5 a.m.–1 p.m., or Saturday–Wednesday, 1 p.m.–9 p.m. Pay is $20 per hour. A company van is provided. Candidates must live near or have reliable transportation to the warehouse on 12th Street in Santa Monica, California.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Have a smartphone and be comfortable using apps.
• Ability to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must live near or have reliable transportation to the warehouse on 12th Street in Santa Monica, California.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of local geography and street layout.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
• Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or similar work.

Responsibilities

• Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks.
• Drive a company van to find scooters and swap their batteries.
• Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas.
• Perform basic repairs and quality checks.
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
