About The Position

Veo is a shared micromobility provider whose mission is to end car dependency by making clean transportation accessible to all. The company operates bike and scooter services in more than 60 cities and universities and designs and manufactures its vehicles, hardware, and software in-house.

E-Scooter Delivery Drivers help provide riders with a reliable experience by maintaining vehicles and improving fleet operations. Drivers use a company van to locate scooters, swap batteries, rebalance vehicles throughout the city, perform quality checks and minor repairs, and respond to requests to locate or retrieve scooters. The role involves following mobile app instructions and staying active throughout the shift.

The listed shift is Tuesday through Saturday, 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. Pay is $19 per hour. A company van is provided. Candidates must live near or have reliable transportation to the warehouse on East Market Street in Charlottesville, Virginia. Part-time candidates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Have a smartphone and be comfortable using apps.
• Be able to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Have good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Live near or have reliable transportation to the warehouse on East Market Street in Charlottesville, Virginia.

• Knowledge of local geography and street layout.
• A flexible schedule, including availability for early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
• Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or similar work.

Responsibilities

• Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks.
• Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap their batteries.
• Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas.
• Perform basic repairs and quality checks.
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
