About The Position

Veo is a shared micromobility provider operating bikes and scooters in more than 60 cities and universities across North America. The company designs and manufactures its vehicles, hardware, and software in-house and directly operates local markets to provide safe and reliable service.

The E-Scooter Delivery Driver supports fleet operations by locating scooters, swapping batteries, rebalancing vehicles throughout the city, and performing quality checks and minor repairs. The role involves following tasks in a mobile app, driving a company-provided van, and responding to requests to locate or retrieve scooters. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys problem-solving, hands-on work, and staying active throughout a shift.

This is a W-2 seasonal position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Weekend overnight availability is preferred. Pay is $18 per hour. A company van is provided. Candidates must have reliable transportation to, or live near, the warehouse on Homes New Row in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This seasonal position is not eligible for benefits.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Have a smartphone and be comfortable using apps.
• Be able to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Have good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of local geography and street layout.
• A flexible schedule, including availability for early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
• Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or similar work.

Responsibilities

• Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks.
• Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap their batteries.
• Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas.
• Perform basic repairs and quality checks.
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
