e-Commerce Operations Associate I
About The Position
Goodwill is looking for an E-Commerce Operation Associate to join their incredibly entrepreneurial team. This role is part of a growing e-commerce team that is focused on growing direct-to-consumer sales, improving the web shopping experience and updating web content for effective merchandising. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of e-commerce in an entry level position. Candidates should be highly organized and comfortable with data entry and excel. The ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- Computer literacy required
- Independent self-starter who can work without close supervision, extremely proactive and organized with attention to detail
- Ability to plan work to meet tight deadlines and unexpected situations and/or requests
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English required
- Evenings and weekend availability required.
- Background and Drug Screen required for Full-Time Positions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in customer service, merchandise handling, shipping/warehouse experience preferred
- Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook email application and internet skills preferred
- Quality assurance or control experience helpful
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintains inventory according to established rotation schedules for replenishment needs.
- Purges outdated merchandise.
- Operates Zebra scanner for inventory control.
- Picks merchandise items for shipping upon receipt of online orders.
- Operates Packsize machine (box maker).
- Operates IBS for shipping labels.
- Processes documents for Fedex, USPS, and OSM.
- Understands shipping and handling flows and shipment pick up schedules.
- Sorts shipments based on shipping companies.
- Lists books, DVDs, and other media items for sale.
- Organizes inventory.
- Responds to customer pick up questions and resolves or escalates concerns as needed.
- Meets or exceeds daily processing goals.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
