About The Position

Simplehuman is seeking a full-time E-Commerce & Marketing Manager to grow its direct-to-consumer web business across the European Union, including sites in France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain. The role leads the development and execution of EU e-commerce and marketing strategy, from awareness through conversion. It is based fully onsite at Simplehuman’s Torrance, California headquarters and works closely with European operations and teams in e-commerce, marketing, creative, planning, sales and product. The role also involves working across European time zones, with occasional early-morning calls and travel to Europe as needed. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in e-commerce and/or digital marketing.
Hands-on experience managing a Shopify or Shopify Plus storefront.
Proven experience running email marketing programs, such as Klaviyo or similar, and performance marketing campaigns across Google, Meta and other paid channels.
Strong analytical skills and experience using Google Analytics, Shopify reporting and Excel to drive decisions.
Working knowledge of EU e-commerce considerations such as VAT-inclusive pricing, GDPR and cookie consent.
Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams and time zones.

Nice To Haves

E-commerce and/or digital marketing experience in consumer products.
Experience marketing to European customers or managing multi-country, multi-language sites.
Fluency in French, German, Italian, Spanish or Dutch.

Responsibilities

Own performance of the EU Shopify sites, including site merchandising, product pages, promotions, checkout and conversion rate.
Plan and execute performance marketing across paid search, paid social and affiliates to drive traffic, new-customer acquisition and revenue in each market.
Build and manage email and lifecycle programs, including campaigns, automated flows, segmentation and list growth, to drive repeat purchase and refill subscriptions.
Develop the EU e-commerce and marketing plan and promotional calendar, set targets by market, and continuously improve based on results.
Adapt content, campaigns and promotions for each country, working with creative and local partners to keep messaging accurate and on-brand.
Partner with EU operations on inventory, fulfillment, customer service and launches; with planning on demand and stock; and with creative, sales and product on new product introductions.
Track KPIs including traffic, conversion, ROAS, CAC and revenue by market, and share weekly and monthly performance insights with leadership.
Manage the EU marketing budget and allocate spend across channels based on performance.
Work across European time zones, with occasional early-morning calls and travel to Europe as needed.
