Dual Function Security Supervisor

Covenant Aviation Security•Orlando, FL

About The Position

Covenant Aviation Security (CAS) is hiring a Dual Function Security Supervisor to support security operations at Orlando International Airport (MCO). The position provides operational flexibility: employees may be assigned Security Supervisor duties, Security Screener duties, or a combination, according to operational needs. Pay is based on the function performed during assigned hours: $22.57 per hour for Security Supervisor duties and $18.47 per hour for Security Screener duties. As a supervisor, the employee provides frontline leadership, supports security personnel, responds to incidents, and helps ensure compliance with TSA regulations, airport requirements, client standards, and company policies. As a screener, the employee performs security duties such as access control, credential verification, inspections, patrols, and monitoring restricted areas. This is a variable-hour role. Full-time or part-time hours may be available, but a specific number of hours in either function is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours, shifts, posts, and assignments vary with staffing and operational requirements. Broad availability—including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays—is strongly preferred. Work takes place in indoor and outdoor airport environments, with most assigned duties outdoors. Employees may work at security shacks, exterior access control points, loading docks, perimeter gates, and in patrol vehicles. Duties may involve prolonged exposure to Florida weather, proximity to vehicle traffic and aircraft activity, and mobile patrols along airport perimeter roads and fence lines. CAS is a private aviation security contractor founded in 2002 and is the largest private contractor providing Screening Partnership Program services to the TSA. The company describes its approach as focused on safety, compliance, operational excellence, customer service, and a trained professional workforce.
