About The Position

The REMM Group is seeking an on-site Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to support two apartment communities in Anaheim and Garden Grove, California. The role oversees the maintenance team and the overall condition and repair of the properties, including day-to-day repairs, apartment make-ready processes, capital projects, and preventative maintenance. Living on-site is required, and rental housing is included. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the role also requires availability for after-hours on-call maintenance issues. Requirements

At least four years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
Previous supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair principles.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues effectively.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; ability to take initiative with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Dependable transportation and ability to accommodate an on-call schedule.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High sense of urgency while maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to work in an environment where demands and priorities change rapidly.
Must be able to live on-site.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma and some college or trade school are preferred.
Experience with Yardi property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance team and the overall condition and repair of the properties.
Ensure apartment turnovers are completed; assist with minor construction projects and renovations.
Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests; diagnose and resolve plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and general repair issues, and document repairs in Yardi Voyager.
Perform preventative maintenance to identify and address potential problems.
Maintain property cleanliness and curb appeal while adhering to safety protocols.
Handle routine maintenance and emergency problems, including after-hours on-call issues.
Communicate with the Business Manager to ensure work is completed and costs remain in line with the budget.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain parts and materials.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, professional attitude with residents and staff.
Plan unit turnovers strategically with the maintenance team.
Manage maintenance-supply inventory.
Keep storage facilities and equipment organized and in working condition.
