About The Position

The DriveUp&Go Supervisor leads the online order selection process to ensure accurate and timely order execution. The supervisor trains shoppers on Drive Up & Go equipment, proper selection of perishable items, customer service, and company procedures and guidelines. The role supervises and coaches Drive Up & Go employees, supports store management, monitors productivity and order fulfillment, and provides timely reporting to support proactive decisions and process improvement. It also involves selecting and collating grocery products for online orders, checking perishables for quality and temperature, ensuring appropriate bagging, performing daily site workbench functions and maintaining paperwork, conducting shopper audits, assisting customers on the sales floor, and ensuring department personnel comply with company rules and regulations. The position requires customer-service, leadership, communication, teamwork, basic computer, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet the stated physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team of Drive Up & Go employees.
• Assist e-commerce shoppers with proper substitutions, problem resolution, and customer questions.
• Support store management in managing and coaching Drive Up & Go employees.
• Manage shopper productivity, out-of-stocks, on-time order fulfillment, and the speed of delivering orders to customers’ cars.
• Provide timely reporting and information to store management to support proactive decision-making and continuous process improvement.
• Select and collate products for online grocery orders.
• Check perishable products for pull dates, quality, proper temperature, and appropriate bagging to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform daily site workbench functions and maintain necessary paperwork.
• Conduct periodic shopper audits to ensure procedures are followed.
• Assist customers on the sales floor.
• Ensure department personnel comply with company rules and regulations.
• Train shoppers on Drive Up & Go equipment, perishable-item selection, customer service, and company procedures and guidelines.
