About The Position

Timber Ridge at Talus is seeking a hospitality-focused Driver to transport residents to grocery stores, monthly outings, and extended trips as scheduled. The Driver also assists with housekeeping duties as needed and supports a culture in which business decisions and employee engagement contribute to revenue and occupancy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of experience as a bus or van driver.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van, bus, or automobile on a regular schedule to meet residents’ transportation needs.
• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator with helping residents on and off the bus or van, tracking attendance, and coordinating mobility equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, and canes.
• Load groceries and other purchased items into the bus or van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash the vehicle.
• Perform housekeeping functions as directed.
