About The Position

Advanced Drainage Systems is hiring a Driver to safely operate company equipment and transport products to customers. Drivers are paid on hub miles, including empty and loaded miles, and receive drop pay for all deliveries. The position offers dedicated dispatch support, newer well-maintained equipment, company-paid uniforms, and no slip seating. Drivers are home most evenings and weekends.

The role includes securing loads, inspecting and maintaining equipment, managing safe unloading at delivery destinations, maintaining accurate paperwork, and reporting discrepancies or hazards. ADS commercial vehicles are equipped with in-cab cameras, and drivers must sign a consent form for collection of in-cab system data.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age for interstate operations.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug test.
• Must sign a consent form for collection of in-cab system data.

Nice To Haves

• One year of verifiable driving experience preferred; entry-level drivers with zero experience are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all company equipment.
• Report bill of lading (BOL) discrepancies.
• Manage safe unloading at delivery destinations and place products in the customer's desired location.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily paperwork, including trip envelopes and RMAs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational capacity.
• Adhere to company and departmental policies.
• Ensure loads are properly secured.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all equipment.
• Report equipment and payload problems or hazards.
• Perform in-route inspections of all equipment.
• Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES.
