About The Position

Advanced Drainage Systems is hiring a Driver to safely operate company equipment and deliver products to customers. Drivers are paid on hub miles, including empty and loaded miles, and receive drop pay for all deliveries. The position offers newer, well-maintained equipment, a dedicated local dispatcher, company-paid uniforms, and no slip seating. Drivers are home most evenings and weekends.

The role includes securing loads, inspecting and maintaining equipment, safely unloading deliveries and placing products where customers request, completing daily paperwork, and reporting discrepancies or equipment and payload hazards. ADS accepts entry-level drivers with zero experience; one year of verifiable driving experience is preferred. Drivers must hold a valid Class A CDL, meet DOT requirements, and sign consent for collection of in-cab system data because ADS commercial vehicles use in-cab cameras.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age for DOT interstate operations.
• Acceptable MVR.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug test.
• Drivers operating an ADS fleet commercial motor vehicle are required to sign the Consent to Collection of In-Cab System Data form.

Nice To Haves

• One year of verifiable driving experience; entry-level drivers with zero experience are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all company equipment.
• Report bill of lading (BOL) discrepancies.
• Manage safe unloading at delivery destinations and place products in the customer's desired location.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily paperwork, including trip envelopes and RMAs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational capacity.
• Adhere to company and departmental policies.
• Ensure loads are properly secured.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all equipment.
• Report equipment and payload problems or hazards.
• Perform in-route inspections of all equipment.
• Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES.
