About The Position

Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) is hiring a Driver to transport and deliver products using company equipment. Drivers are responsible for operating equipment safely, securing loads, inspecting vehicles and payloads, and managing safe unloading at delivery destinations. The role includes maintaining accurate paperwork, keeping the vehicle clean and operational, and following company and departmental policies. ADS is a dedicated carrier that pays for empty and loaded miles, with no slip seating. Entry-level drivers are accepted, and no driving experience is required, although one year of verifiable driving experience is preferred.

ADS offers competitive pay, paid hub miles, drop pay for deliveries, paid company uniforms, newer and well-maintained equipment, and a local dedicated dispatcher for each driver. Drivers are home most evenings and weekends. ADS commercial vehicles are equipped with in-cab cameras to support driver safety; employees and contracted drivers operating commercial vehicles in the ADS fleet must sign a consent form for collection of in-cab system data.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age, as required for interstate DOT operations.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug test.
• Sign the consent form for collection of in-cab system data when operating an ADS fleet commercial vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• One year of verifiable driving experience is preferred; entry-level drivers with no experience are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operate all company equipment safely.
• Report discrepancies in bills of lading (BOLs).
• Manage safe unloading at delivery destinations and place products where customers request.
• Maintain accurate and current daily paperwork, including trip envelopes and RMAs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational capacity.
• Follow company and departmental policies.
• Ensure loads are properly secured.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all equipment.
• Report equipment and payload problems or hazards.
• Perform in-route inspections of all equipment.
• Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES.
