About The Position

Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) is hiring a Driver to operate company equipment and deliver products safely to customers. Drivers are responsible for securing loads, managing safe unloading, placing products where customers request, completing accurate paperwork, inspecting equipment, and reporting discrepancies or hazards. ADS is a dedicated carrier that pays loaded and empty miles, uses no slip seating, and offers local dedicated dispatchers. Drivers are home most evenings and weekends and use newer, well-maintained equipment. Entry-level drivers are accepted, with zero experience required; one year of verifiable driving experience is preferred. ADS commercial vehicles are equipped with in-cab cameras, and employees and contracted drivers operating vehicles in the ADS fleet must sign a consent form for collection of in-cab system data.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age for interstate operations, as required by DOT.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug test.
• Sign the consent form for collection of in-cab system data when operating a commercial vehicle in the ADS fleet.

Nice To Haves

• One year of verifiable driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate all company equipment safely.
• Report discrepancies in bills of lading (BOLs).
• Manage safe unloading at delivery destinations and place products in the customer's desired location.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily paperwork, including trip envelopes and RMAs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational capacity.
• Follow company and departmental policies.
• Ensure loads are properly secured.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all equipment.
• Report equipment and payload problems or hazards.
• Perform in-route inspections of all equipment.
• Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES.
