About The Position

The Driver delivers vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and on time to the appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The role transports fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations and may involve navigating written directions. The position is located at 7001 Essington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19153, and starts at $14.50 per hour.

Available schedules are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; or one of three Monday–Friday schedules: 7:15 a.m.–3:45 p.m., 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., or 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must live no more than a 30-minute commute from 7001 Essington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19153.
• Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, navigating written directions as needed.
• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles to the appropriate destinations safely and courteously.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
• Clean vehicles when asked.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
