About The Position

The Driver Check-in/Cashier conducts daily closeout collection and basic accounting procedures with route sales representatives, takes product orders, and performs accounting support functions. The role is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is part-time. The position receives, counts, documents, and deposits daily route cash receipts; completes bank deposit documentation; closes out routes and prepares required reports; reconciles invoices with cash receipts; records transactions; secures money; and accounts for load sheets, invoices, and cash receipts. It also answers calls from internal and external customers. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor. Responsibilities

Receive, count, document, and deposit cash from daily route receipts.
Complete required bank deposit documentation.
Close out daily routes and create required end loading, sales, checklist, full-service, and cash reports.
Make copies of required reports.
Reconcile invoices with daily cash receipts by correcting errors, collecting shortages, or paying overages to drivers.
Record amounts received and prepare reports of transactions.
Tie and tag each bag and secure all monies in the safe.
Account daily for all load sheets, invoices, and cash receipts.
Answer phone calls from internal and external customers.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
