About The Position

The Driver Check-in/Cashier conducts daily closeout collection and basic accounting procedures with route sales representatives, takes product orders, and performs accounting support functions. The position is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is part time, with a listed wage of $20 per hour. The role receives, counts, documents, and deposits cash from daily route receipts; completes required bank deposit documentation; closes out daily routes and prepares required reports; reconciles invoices with cash receipts; secures money; accounts for load sheets, invoices, and cash receipts; and answers calls from internal and external customers. Responsibilities

Receive, count, document, and deposit cash from daily route receipts.
Complete necessary bank deposit documentation.
Close out daily routes and prepare the end loading, sales, checklist, full-service, and cash reports.
Make copies of required reports.
Reconcile invoices with daily cash receipts by correcting errors, collecting shortages, or paying overages to drivers.
Record amounts received and prepare reports of transactions.
Secure monies in the safe after tying and tagging each bag.
Account daily for all load sheets, invoices, and cash receipts.
Answer phone calls from internal and external customers.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
