About The Position

Vomela is seeking a Driver and Graphics Installer to move trucks, trailers, and other vehicles safely between yard, production, installation, and loading areas while supporting the installation of vehicle graphics. The role coordinates vehicle movement with production schedules and installation timelines, positions vehicles for installation, inspection, shipping, and customer pickup, and maintains organized yard inventory and vehicle locations. The position also assists with installing and removing vehicle graphics, wraps, decals, lettering, and fleet branding materials. It involves preparing vehicle surfaces, supporting installers with measuring and applying graphics, using hand tools and installation equipment, maintaining quality standards, and keeping work areas safe and organized. The employee works collaboratively with production, installation, and shipping teams and may assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment. The work includes frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching; regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds; and climbing ladders to access vehicle areas. Work takes place indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to learn graphic installation techniques and processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders and safely access various areas of vehicles.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Manual dexterity sufficient to handle graphic materials and installation tools.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience driving commercial vehicles, trucks, or trailers.
Prior experience with vehicle graphics, signage, wraps, or installation work.

Responsibilities

Safely move trucks, trailers, and other vehicles between designated yard, production, installation, and loading areas.
Coordinate vehicle movement to support production schedules and installation timelines.
Conduct pre- and post-movement inspections and promptly report vehicle damage or maintenance concerns.
Follow company safety policies and traffic regulations while operating vehicles.
Position vehicles for installation, inspection, shipping, and customer pickup.
Organize and maintain yard inventory and vehicle locations.
Assist with installing vehicle graphics, wraps, decals, lettering, and fleet branding materials.
Prepare vehicle surfaces for graphic installation by cleaning, masking, and staging materials.
Support installers with measuring, positioning, applying, and finishing graphic materials.
Assist with graphic removal, repairs, and reinstallation projects as needed.
Operate hand tools and installation equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain quality standards and ensure installations meet customer specifications.
Keep installation areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Collaborate with production, installation, and shipping teams.
Follow company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
Assist with loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned to support shop operations and customer deadlines.
