About The Position

Freebee is an eco-friendly electric vehicle transportation company providing free, comfortable rides in communities across Florida and North Carolina. Drivers prioritize safety and provide welcoming, reliable service while serving as ambassadors for Freebee and its partners. They help passengers—including seniors, people with disabilities, tourists, and expectant mothers—and support the communities where Freebee operates. Drivers use company-provided electric vehicles, so they do not need to pay for gas, vehicle insurance, or maintenance, or put miles on their own vehicle.

Drivers report to a Freebee hub, typically a municipal garage, and use the Freebee app to start their day. They inspect and clean their vehicle, notify management of issues, coordinate with their team, and drive in assigned zones. At the end of the day, they return the vehicle to the garage, clean it, and plug it into a charging station. A Driver Support Team is available to assist while driving.

Requirements

• Be at least 22 years old.
• Have the ability to drive a commercial vehicle.
• Have a passion for helping others.
• Hold a valid Florida driver's license.
• Have at least 3 years of licensed driving experience in the United States.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Be able to multitask and use a driver app.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation in the community while delivering a high level of customer service.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and safe for passengers each day.
• Use navigation apps to select optimal routes and help multiple passengers reach their destinations on time.
• Represent Freebee and partner companies as an ambassador, which may include handing out samples and attending advertising events.
• Communicate driving-related occurrences to management and team members.
• Complete vehicle checklists, report issues, and clean the vehicle before and after service.
• Drive in assigned zones and return the vehicle to the Freebee garage at the end of the day.
• Plug the vehicle into charging stations after the shift.
