About The Position

The Driver Ambassador drives electric shuttles within a mapped service area, helping locals and tourists travel safely around the community. The role also represents the community by welcoming and engaging passengers, sharing local facts and recommendations, and creating an enjoyable ride. Drivers operate vehicles such as GEMS, sedans, and vans, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and keep vehicles clean.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of safe driving experience and a valid driver's license.
• Passion for customer service and working with the public.
• Interest in showcasing the community.
• Ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other applications.
• Palm Beach County Vehicle for Hire permit, or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Full-time availability.
• Comfort working in different weather conditions, including summer and winter months.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to abide by vehicle weight and height requirements specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

• Provide safe, efficient, and fun rides while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Drive electric vehicles, including GEMS, sedans, and vans.
• Perform pre- and post-vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Share local facts, hotspots, and hidden gems with passengers.
