About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Pool and Beach Ambassador to help shape the guest experience through exceptional knowledge of the resort, enthusiasm, and service guided by the Golden Rule. The ambassador embodies the spirit of aloha and represents the Hualalai Ohana while assisting guests in pool and beach areas. Legal work authorization in the United States is required. The role is temporary and requires weekend and holiday availability.

Requirements

Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required.
Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
Must obtain a Tuberculosis (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage, as required by the Hawaii State Department of Health.
Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

Offer guests at pool and beach areas complimentary amenities at designated delivery times.
Learn about the amenities offered, where they originate, and the amenities available throughout the property.
Inform guests about activities available throughout the property.
Know the hours of service for all food and beverage outlets.
Share information with guests about the cultural center and the history of the island.
Prepare an adequate number of amenities for the current day and the following day.
Keep work and preparation areas, including the Surf Shack and Kids for All Seasons, clean and organized.
Communicate with the leadership team to ensure amenity supplies are properly stocked.
Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
Assist guests with inquiries about hotel services, operating hours, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, and related matters.
Respond to guest requests accurately and in a timely manner, making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.
