About The Position

The Pool and Beach Food Runner at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai helps shape the guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. The role involves ensuring food orders are prepared accurately and on time, checking presentation quality, and providing guests with the items they need alongside their orders. The Food Runner must be attentive to allergies and dietary restrictions, learn menu items and ingredients, communicate effectively, and travel long distances between restaurants and poolside to deliver service. Legal work authorization in the United States is required.

Requirements

• Legal work authorization in the United States.
• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience.
• Obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card as required by the Hawaii State Department of Health for food and beverage work.
• Weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food items are prepared accurately within standard times.
• Ensure food items meet the highest standards for presentation and quality.
• Provide guests with appropriate items based on their orders, including condiments, napkins, silverware, and chopsticks.
• Maintain awareness of standard service times and communicate effectively to protect the guest experience.
• Pay close attention to allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Study and memorize food items and ingredients.
• Travel long distances from restaurants to poolside to provide service.
