About The Position

Circuit is seeking a Driver Ambassador to operate electric shuttles within a mapped service area and provide safe, enjoyable transportation to locals and visitors. The role combines driving with community engagement: welcoming passengers, sharing local facts and recommendations, and serving as a friendly representative of the community. Drivers operate vehicles including GEMS, sedans, and vans, and keep vehicles clean through pre- and post-trip inspections. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., with weekends off.

Requirements

At least 3 years of safe driving experience and a valid driver’s license.
Passion for customer service and enthusiasm for showcasing the community.
Ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other applications.
Comfort working in different weather conditions, including summer and winter.
Ability to stand, sit, and walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to comply with vehicle weight and height requirements specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
Must obtain an LADOT license; Circuit provides it.

Nice To Haves

A chauffeur’s license or commercial driving experience.
Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide transportation around the community so locals and tourists can reach their destinations safely.
Welcome passengers and create an enjoyable riding experience.
Provide safe, efficient, and fun rides while maintaining excellent customer service.
Drive electric vehicles, including GEMS, sedans, and vans; some vehicles may not have power steering.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness by performing pre- and post-vehicle inspections.
Share community information, local hotspots, and hidden gems with passengers.
