About The Position
Circuit is hiring a seasonal Driver Ambassador to operate electric shuttles on the Gardens Mall route. The role provides transportation for local residents and visitors within a mapped service area, while offering a welcoming, enjoyable ride and sharing information about local attractions and community highlights. Drivers operate GEMS, sedans, and vans, and perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to help keep vehicles clean and safe. The schedule is afternoon and night shifts, Thursday through Sunday.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of safe driving experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Passion for customer service and interest in showcasing the community.
- Ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other applications.
- Comfort working in different weather conditions, including summer and winter months.
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must abide by vehicle weight and height requirements specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
Nice To Haves
- Chauffeur’s license or commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Drive electric shuttles, including GEMS, sedans, and vans, along the Gardens Mall route and within the mapped service area.
- Transport members of the public safely and efficiently to their destinations.
- Welcome passengers and provide excellent customer service to create an enjoyable ride.
- Share local information, including fun facts, hotspots, and hidden gems.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
