About The Position

As a Driver Ambassador, you drive electric shuttles around the city within a mapped service area, helping locals and tourists travel safely. The role combines driving with community engagement: welcoming passengers, sharing local facts and recommendations, and creating an enjoyable ride while providing excellent customer service. Drivers operate GEMS, sedans, and vans, some of which may not have power steering, and keep vehicles clean through pre- and post-trip inspections.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of safe driving experience and a valid driver's license.
• Passion for customer service and working with the public.
• Enthusiasm for showcasing the community.
• Ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other applications.
• Palm Beach County Vehicle for Hire permit, or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Full-time availability.
• Comfort working in different weather conditions, including summer and winter months.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to abide by vehicle weight and height requirements specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for locals and tourists around the community.

• Provide safe, efficient, and fun rides while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Share community facts, local hotspots, and hidden gems with passengers.
• Drive electric vehicles including GEMS, sedans, and vans.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness by completing pre- and post-vehicle inspections.
