On Call Driver Ambassador- Electric Shuttle (New Rochelle)
About The Position
Circuit provides electric shuttle services designed to reduce congestion and its effects on the environment and quality of life. Driver Ambassadors drive electric shuttles within a mapped service area and represent the community by welcoming passengers, sharing local information, and helping people reach their destinations safely. The role involves delivering safe, efficient, enjoyable rides and maintaining vehicle cleanliness through pre- and post-trip inspections. Drivers must be able to operate a variety of electric vehicles, including GEMS and sedans, some with or without power steering. The position offers a fun, flexible work environment. Shifts listed are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. The hourly base rate is $17 plus tips. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of safe driving experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A passion for customer service and working with the public.
- Interest in showcasing the community.
- Ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other applications.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Comfort working in different weather conditions, including summer and winter.
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must abide by vehicle weight and height requirements specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
Nice To Haves
- A chauffeur’s license or experience driving commercially.
