About The Position
Frank Gay Services is hiring skilled Drain Technicians to provide high-quality service and solve customers’ drainage problems. Technicians work independently, with hands-on management support, and have access to tools, training, and opportunities for career advancement. The role involves responding to customer needs and call-outs, diagnosing drainage issues, preparing cost estimates, and installing, maintaining, cleaning, and repairing drain systems. Compensation is $75,000–$125,000+ per year.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a drain technician or plumbing helper in residential plumbing.
- Experience using a jetter and camera.
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new methods.
- Must pass a motor vehicle check, background check, and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills, honesty, dependability, and reliability.
- Physical dexterity.
Responsibilities
- Work independently and solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Handle customer queries, troubleshoot and resolve problems, respond to call-outs, and prepare cost estimates.
- Inspect drain lines with a camera to identify drainage issues.
- Install, maintain, clean, and repair drain systems.
- Inspect and test plumbing and drainage systems for safety, functionality, and water quality.
