Donation Trailer Attendant

About The Position
The Donation Trailer Attendant welcomes donors and supports Goodwill’s donation operations across Western New York. The role involves working at multiple donation trailer locations, assisting with donations, safely handling donated goods, and helping protect Goodwill property and maintain a safe work environment. Compensation is $18 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Decision-making skills and comfort with basic loading and movement of goods.
- Able to work independently and stay positive in a fast-paced setting.
- Physically capable and committed to safe work practices.
- Friendly, dependable, and community-minded.
- Genuine passion for serving others.
Nice To Haves
- Prior material-handling experience is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet donors warmly and assist with unloading donations.
- Offer a donation receipt to every donor.
- Sort, package, and safely store donated goods.
- Protect and secure Goodwill property.
- Follow safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment.
- Travel to and work at multiple donation trailer locations.
