About The Position
The Donation Trailer Attendant welcomes donors at Goodwill donation locations across Western New York, assists with unloading donations, and helps ensure donated goods are handled and stored safely. The role involves traveling to and working at multiple donation trailer locations, protecting Goodwill property, and following safety procedures while supporting the organization’s mission.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Decision-making skills and comfort with basic loading and movement of goods.
- Able to work independently and remain positive in a fast-paced setting.
- Physically capable and committed to safe work practices.
- Friendly, dependable, and community-minded.
- Genuine passion for serving others.
Nice To Haves
- Prior material-handling experience is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet donors warmly and assist with unloading donations.
- Offer a donation receipt to every donor.
- Sort, package, and safely store donated goods.
- Protect and secure Goodwill property.
- Follow safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment.
- Travel to and work at multiple donation trailer locations.
