About The Position

The Donation Coordinator evaluates preliminary donor eligibility by reviewing medical records, clinical information, hemodilution assessments, and behavioral risk factors. The role coordinates transportation logistics with courier services to ensure timely, accurate tissue shipment and maintains strong stakeholder communication. It identifies and processes organ, tissue, and eye referrals to maximize donation opportunities, assesses and triages incoming communications to route urgent needs appropriately, and provides compassionate support to families by advocating for donation, completing authorization documents, and conducting thorough Donor Risk Assessment Interviews. Requirements

3 years of work experience as an EMT, Corpsman, ER, RRT, ICU tech, or equivalent healthcare experience, or in emergency services dispatch.
