About The Position

The Domain Architect – Market-Facing Digital provides architecture design and technical advisory leadership for Owens Corning’s Digital Innovation market-facing platforms, including its web estate, customer and indirect portals, and identity and commerce integrations. Under the direction of the Senior Domain Architect, the role handles medium- to high-complexity architecture work, develops options and recommendations, drafts Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), and engages product owner and business technology partner organizations on architecture questions. The position is an individual contributor role and may lead a small team of up to three FTEs. The architect leads selected architecture efforts from problem framing through options and trade-offs, cost and risk assessment, a recommended path, and a draft ADR. The role supports web estate and identity modernization, maintains architecture blueprints and artifacts, participates in digital working groups, and partners with product owners, peer architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders. It also advises on architectural patterns and standards, identifies technical risks and scalability gaps, and coaches developers and developer leads.
