About The Position

Pup Culture is hiring reliable and responsible animal lovers to provide dog walking and pet sitting in its service area in the Twin Cities. The role involves spending time outdoors, getting exercise, and caring for animals, with work that is largely independent after initial and ongoing training. The position begins with a couple of walks per day, with opportunities for additional work based on performance and experience. Visits may be back-to-back and must be completed within specified time frames; the company typically has 4–10 walks per day. Applicants must be available on weekdays during the busiest hours, be willing to make a long-term commitment, and be able to work in all weather. Pay begins at $16 per hour, plus tips.

Availability between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Ability to make a long-term commitment.
A smartphone, computer, and internet access.
Reliable transportation.
Residence in or near the service area.
Flexible schedule.
Ability to walk in all weather.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Walk dogs and provide pet-sitting visits in the company's service area.
Complete visits within the specified time frames, including back-to-back appointments.
Communicate clearly with clients and staff, including providing client updates and visit notes through the company's system.
Work independently and use resourcefulness while caring for animals.
