About The Position

Pup Culture is hiring reliable and responsible animal-lovers to provide individualized dog walks and cat sitting in its service area in the Twin Cities. The role involves spending time outdoors, exercising, and caring for animals. Work begins with a couple of walks per day, with opportunities to grow based on performance and experience. Visits are often back-to-back and must be completed within specific time frames. Much of the work is independent, with initial and ongoing training provided. The position is part-time and offers a starting pay of $16 per hour, plus tips and mileage reimbursement. Pup Culture is a woman-owned pet care company serving more than 400 active clients. Requirements

Availability between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and one weekend per quarter (four times a year).
Ability to make a long-term commitment.
Smartphone, computer, and internet access.
Reliable transportation.
Live in or near the company's service area.
Ability to walk in all weather.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and be resourceful.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence and strong intuition when working with animals.
Love of animals and patience when caring for them.

Responsibilities

Walk dogs and provide pet-sitting visits, including cat sitting.
Complete scheduled visits within required time frames, often working back-to-back appointments.
Work independently and use resourcefulness while caring for animals.
Communicate clearly with clients and staff, including providing daily updates through the company system.
Provide safe, individualized care for pets in all weather.
