The Document Control and Administrative Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Engineering Department operations through document management, administrative coordination, and technical records administration. This position helps ensure engineering documentation; technical publications, FAA correspondence, and departmental records are accurately maintained, controlled, and distributed in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support electronic document control processes and ensure proper maintenance of engineering records.
  • Assist the Engineering Change Board (ECB) in releasing engineering drawings and blueprints through the Product Data Management (PDM) Vault system.
  • Maintain Engineering Type Design documentation, including reports, drawings, specifications, and supporting records.
  • Ensure proper control, distribution, retention, and accessibility of engineering documentation.
  • Assist with document revisions and change management processes.
  • Support technical publication preparation, administration, and distribution.
  • Establish workload priorities and coordinate support activities to meet departmental deadlines.
  • Collect, compile, and maintain departmental records, reports, and documentation.
  • Evaluate, organize, and analyze information to create meaningful and usable data.
