About The Position

Shopko Optical is seeking an Optometrist to serve its Faribault and Owatonna, Minnesota locations. The doctor will join an experienced, cohesive team and have autonomy to build the practice they want. Shopko Optical provides ancillary support, including patient screening and billing, so doctors can focus on patient care and building meaningful relationships in the communities they serve.

The role includes comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting, refractive services, diagnosing, treating, and managing eye disease, and co-management of cataract and refractive surgery. The position has no call responsibilities. Requirements

• OD degree from an ACOE-approved College of Optometry.
• Ability to communicate with customers and teammates.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams.
• Fit contact lenses and provide refractive services.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage eye disease.
• Co-manage cataract and refractive surgery.
