About The Position

Shopko Optical is seeking an Optometrist to join its team in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The role offers autonomy to build the practice and support in developing meaningful relationships in the communities served. Full ancillary support, including screening and patient billing, allows doctors to focus on patient care. This is a no-call position with dedicated staff to support care delivery.

The practice provides comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting, refractive services, diagnosis and management of eye disease, and cataract and refractive surgery co-management. Compensation includes a guaranteed salary while the doctor grows the practice. Shopko Optical describes its patient-care approach as CARES: connect with each patient, assess their needs, recommend personalized care plans, educate patients, and see care through with consistent follow-up.

Requirements

• OD degree from an ACOE-approved College of Optometry.
• Ability to communicate with customers and teammates.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams.
• Fit contact lenses and provide refractive services.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage eye disease.
• Co-manage cataract and refractive surgery.
• Build the practice and develop meaningful relationships in the community.
• Communicate with customers and teammates.
