About The Position

Canteen, part of Compass Group, is hiring an Operations Intern for its Sheboygan, Wisconsin metropolitan area. The summer internship runs from May through August 2027, with dates customizable based on the intern’s school schedule. Interns work 30–40 hours per week according to the opening details; the requirements section specifies availability for 32–40 hours per week based on business needs and program requirements. Pay is $18.00 per hour. The internship provides hands-on experience supporting Canteen’s operations and clients, with opportunities to learn industry practices and contribute to real-world projects. Depending on the placement, work may involve marketing and customer service; retail and merchandising; branch operations and support services; finance, purchasing and supply chain; or profit and loss management. Interns may also gain exposure to coffee and refreshments, vending services, and Avenue C Micro-Markets. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or professional hospitality or culinary program and meet their school’s internship GPA requirement. Proof of enrollment is required. College credit is not required, though documentation can be provided if needed.
