About The Position
A. Duie Pyle is seeking a part-time Inbound Dockworker in Northborough, Massachusetts. The role safely transports freight on and off trailers and verifies related documentation using electronic and manual systems. The starting rate is $22.75 per hour, increasing to $23.75 per hour after 12 months of employment. The start time is 4:00 AM, and employees are paid weekly on Fridays by direct deposit. A. Requirements
- Ability to safely operate equipment and follow company and government safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating a forklift or other material-handling equipment.
- Prior experience in warehousing, freight, and/or logistics.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight on trailers using appropriate equipment, including a forklift or electric pallet jack.
- Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers to ensure safe transport.
- Use the document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal.
- Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Work with a customer-service-first mentality.
- Safely transport freight on and off trailers and verify related documentation through electronic and manual systems.
