About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Inbound Dockworker to join its team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The position pays $22.80 per hour, increasing to $27.65 after 12 months of employment. The example schedule starts at 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime after 40 hours. Requirements

Ability to safely operate equipment and follow company and government safety rules and regulations.
Ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment preferred.
Prior experience in warehousing, freight, and/or logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

Load and unload freight on trailers using appropriate equipment, such as a forklift or electric pallet jack.
Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers to ensure safe transport.
Use a document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal.
Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers.
Maintain a flexible schedule, including possible day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Operate with a customer-service-first mentality.
Safely transport freight on and off trailers and verify related documentation through electronic and manual systems.
