About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is hiring a full-time Inbound Dockworker in Johnston, Rhode Island. The role involves safely moving freight on and off trailers and verifying associated documentation using electronic and manual systems. The position pays $24.30 per hour plus a $0.70 shift differential, increasing after 12 months of employment to $29.00 per hour plus the shift differential. The scheduled start time is 12:00 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Employees are paid weekly by direct deposit, with overtime after 40 hours. A. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience operating a forklift or other material-handling equipment preferred.
Prior experience in warehousing, freight, and/or logistics preferred.
Ability to safely operate equipment and follow company and government safety rules and regulations.
Ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Load and unload freight on trailers using appropriate equipment, including a forklift or electric pallet jack.
Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers to ensure safe transport.
Use the document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal.
Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers.
Maintain a flexible schedule that may include day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Work with a customer-service-first mentality.
Safely operate equipment and follow company and government safety rules and regulations.
