About The Position
The DMV Specialist has working knowledge of multiple state DMV processes and guidelines. This role prepares out-of-state title work accurately and ensures it is submitted in a timely manner. The DMV Specialist reports to the Title and Registration Supervisor and works in person at Rock Honda in Fontana, California, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DMV or auto titling.
- Data entry experience.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Ensure paperwork is completed accurately before submission to the DMV.
- Coordinate delivery of DMV paperwork to appropriate vendors or state DMVs.
- Process correction requests and communicate with customers and/or internal partners to obtain necessary documents.
- Communicate with vendors and/or state DMVs to obtain status updates.
- Follow up with internal partners regarding missing items required to submit DMV documents for processing.
- Coordinate shipment of plates to customers.
- Provide timely, regular status updates as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
