About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is actively seeking a Division Director of Habilitation to lead office directors within our Habilitation (I/DD) practice across the state of Missouri. This role requires the ability to travel 50-60% of the time to our Habilitation offices in Missouri and the candidate must be located in the state of Missouri with the ability to travel weekly.

Requirements

  • Four (4) year college degree required.
  • Five (5) years of verifiable supervisory work experience required, preferably in a health care or social service management position.
  • Experience working with Intellectual/Developmental disabilities required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of demonstrated success as a BAYADA Home Health Care office director or a comparable organization required.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
  • Develop working knowledge of BAYADA’s mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures.
  • Provide oversight and support to assigned service offices, including responsibility for direct supervision of Directors, Director Interns or Service Directors, as assigned by President or Chief Operating Officer.
  • Ensure that offices’ actions and communications demonstrate that “The Client Comes First”.
  • Proactively manage client and customer concerns.
  • Oversee and participate in recruiting, selecting, and developing high-potential employees in the division for all Recruiters, Client Services Managers, Clinical Managers, Director Interns, Directors, and Area Directors.
  • Educate, mentor, and coach Director Interns, Directors, Area Directors, and Division Directors. Deliver honest and timely feedback. Ensure appropriate clinical and management coverage for each office.
  • Direct and support offices to achieve customer service, quality growth, and financial stability goals.
  • Oversee the development of quarterly recruiting, marketing, and budgeting plans.
  • Hold Directors accountable for meeting established goals. Assure that all lines of service and markets are served appropriately.
  • Understand competition and market (both referral and employment sources).
  • Assume responsibility for the quality of care provided by all offices in the division.
  • Develop and monitor processes to ensure that offices operate ethically, legally, safely, and with a high level of compliance.
  • Communicate office/provider-specific performance issues to the Governing body through the Practice Leader or Chief Operating Officer and ensure the implementation of corrective actions to be taken at their direction and that of the governing body.
  • Identify new business opportunities. Support offices with the analysis of potential acquisitions and new lines of business. Identify industry trends and react accordingly.
  • Lead through strong communication and sharing of ideas with field and support offices.
  • Develop long-term trusting relationships with clients, community, employees, support, and other service offices.
  • Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
  • Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor.
