About The Position

The District Sales Supervisor is responsible for building brand loyalty and brand value while achieving sales objectives for an assigned district within an established expense budget. The role represents the company to distributor partners in sales-oriented activities and identifies and evaluates new or emerging trends in competitive activity. The position is located at the company’s Lubbock, Texas facility and supports customer stores in Midland, Odessa, San Angelo, Big Spring, Texas, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be based in Midland/Odessa. The supervisor directly manages five Account Managers and eight Merchandisers. The schedule is Monday through Friday starting at 6:00 a.m., with additional support on weekends and holidays if needed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of supervisory experience managing teams.
3 years of sales-related experience in territory management.
3 years of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A valid driver's license.
Access to a dependable and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain customer account contacts to increase product availability within the assigned market.
Monitor business activities to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
Develop action plans to ensure achievement of annual objectives.
Develop customer programs designed to improve consumer visibility of branded products.
Identify key decision makers for account management and coordinate with contacts on marketing programs, point-of-sale materials, and sales promotion programs.
Audit account sales records to verify that coverage information is accurate and key contacts are listed.
Adjust coverage responsibilities to support achievement of goals and objectives for targeted program initiatives.
Train, manage, and motivate the Sales and Merchandising team.
Manage and operate within established operating and marketing budgets by reporting and tracking activity.
